Jayalalitha, Sasikala and their aides declared guilty. 4 years in jail and no political career!

The honorable Supreme Court has dismissed the judgement of the Karnataka High Court and upheld the judgement given by Justice Michael Kunha by declaring all four accused J Jayalalitha, Sasikala, Ilavarasi and Sudhakaran guilty in the disproportionate Assets case. This case has been ongoing for the better part of the last 2 decades. After more than 200 vaithas and many judgements, finally the case has come to a close. 

J Jayalalitha and others have been sentenced to 4 years in jail and a fine of Rs. 100 crores for main accused J Jayalalitha and Rs. 10 crores for the other 3 accused.  

All accused have been asked to present themselves at the Madras High Court with immediate effect.
