As an alternative means of treatment, papaya leaf extract, Nilavembu Kashayam is provided to people who are suffering from dengue and chikungunya. Today during the grievance day, a group of petitioners who represent the All Christians Coordination Center have petitioned the District Collector to provide traditional medicines and homeopathic medicines for the treatment of all diseases as in the case of Dengue and Chikungunya.
