Corporation officials evict unauthorised structures in Masakalipalayam

Corporation officials have been actively engaged evicting encroachments on roadsides in Masakalipalayam area including a “Pazhamudir” shop.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Corporation, has been up to eviction of roadside encroachments and unauthorized structures at Masakalipalayam area of the city.



Earlier notices were served to remove the buildings of shops constructed on encroached road spaces in Masakalipalayam main road comprising ward 52 and 53, which falls under the Corporation east zone.



Led by Municipal Corporation Assistant Town Planning Officer Kumar, the eviction operation was carried out. Shops, including Pazhamudir and hardware shops have been evicted in the operation.

The move by Corporation officials was lauded by the city denizens.
