Special puja performed to Lord Saneeswara at Chittampalam near Palladam

Special abhishekam puja was performed to Lord Saneeswara on the occasion of Sani Peyarchi which is held once in two and a half years at Chittampalam near Palladam.



Tirupur: A special puja was performed at the famous Kallai Navagraha Fort at Chittampalam near Palladam on the occasion of Sani Peyarchi.



There are separate idols installed here.

It is customary to have Saturn transit once in two-and-a-half years and hence accordingly, Lord Saneeswara is believed to be transiting from Capricorn to Aquarius on Tuesday according to the Thirukkanatha Panchaga.



On account of this event, special abishekams and aradhana pujas were performed to Lord Saneeswaran at the Navagraha Fort.



Yajnas were performed in the presence of a large number of devotees who had gathered from the surrounding areas to participated in the special pujas.

The devotees who participated in the special parikgara puja also lit sesame lamps and worshipped Lord Saneeswara.
