A ganja peddler was arrested for selling ganja in Nallampalayam area of Coimbatore and 300 grams of ganja seized from him.
Coimbatore: Police arrested Nandakumar of Maniyakarampalayam who was found selling ganja in Nallampalayam area, and seized 300 grams of ganja from him.
The police were patrolling Nallampalayam area which comes under Thudiyalur police limits when they intercepted the ganja peddler.
Acting on a tip-off, sub-inspector Guruchandra Vadivel, who was on patrol duty in Karuvadupet area apprehended the man, who was moving in a suspicious manner and interrogated and later arrested him on finding the contraband in his possession.
A case has been registered in the regard and the arrested person was remanded in custody.
