The protesters also condemned the exclusion of the Tamil Nadu Government's logo on the Governor's Pongal festival invitation card and continued their protest in front of the Tirupur Corporation office.



Tirupur: The Democratic Progressive Alliance cadres staged a protest in Tirupur protesting against the Tamil Nadu Governor, R N Ravi's reading of the Governor's speech in the Tamil Nadu Assembly without mentioning the names of Perarignar Anna, Dr. B R Ambedkar, Thanthai Periyar, Muthamizh Arignar Kalaignar and a few others.



The protesters also condemned the exclusion of the Tamil Nadu Government's logo on the Governor's Pongal festival invitation card and continued their protest in front of the Tirupur Corporation office.



The protest was attended by office-bearers of the Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India (Marxist), Congress, MDMK, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, Indian Union Muslim League and Manithaneya Makkal Katchi.
