Woman tailor commits suicide over family dispute near Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore

A woman, Tailor, committed suicide by hanging herself at Adithya Avenue in Kinathukadavu after her husband did not take proper care of her and did not pay for the expenses.


Coimbatore: Radha was a resident of Adithya Avenue Vinayagar Koil Street near Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore district. She was married to Guna, a native of Ooty, 12 years ago. She was living separately with her husband due to differences of opinion.

In the meantime, she was running a tailor shop in Kovilpalayam area near Kinathukadavu. A few months ago, when she went to work at a private cloth shop in Coimbatore, she came in contact with a person named Subbiah.

Radha and Subbiah were reportedly living in a rented house in Adithya Avenue area of Kinathukadavu. In the meantime, it appears that Subbiah had not taken proper care of Radha for the past few days and had not paid for the expenses.

Radha committed suicide by hanging herself at her house last night. On receiving information, the police rushed to the spot and recovered radha's body and sent it to pollachi government hospital for post-mortem.

Kinathukadavu police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
