Tirupur: Rahman (52), a resident of Mangalam Road near Palladam in Tiruppur district. An auto-rickshaw driver, he had taken a loan of Rs 2 lakh from a private financial institution in Palladam. As he could not repay the loan, a confiscation order was issued against him.
It is said that due to family circumstances, few instalments of the loan could be paid by the auto driver.

As per the court order, the employees of a private financial institution came to Rahman's house to carry out the confiscation proceedings.

At that time, Rahman and his family urged the employees of the financial institution not to proceed and promised to repay the loan.
Following this, the confiscation operation was temporarily called off after neighbours spoke in favour of Rahman's family and pleaded with the bankers to allot some grace time.
