Bhoomi Pooja performed for construction of Anganwadi Centre at Palladam

MLA Anandan inaugurated the construction of a new Anganwadi Centre at Palladam, in Tirupur district and also toilet facilities in the school.



Tirupur: The residents of Palladam in Tirupur district have been demanding the construction of a new Anganwadi Centre at Anna Nagar. In order to meet this demand, Rs. 10 lakh was allocated from the Palladam MLA's Fund.



The bhoomi pooja for setting up the new Anganwadi Centre was inaugurated by the Palladam MLA Anandan. He also distributed chairs, tables and equipment to students of the Government School in Anna Nagar and inaugurated the construction of additional toilets for the students of Mangalam Government High School.



The construction of the toilet began at a cost of Rs. 15 lakh.



The inaugural programs were attended by Government officials, party functionaries, school students and others.
