'8 MLAs from Coimbatore missing', AIADMK 52nd Ward Secretary files complaint to City Commissioner.


Srinivasan, a resident of Gandhipuram in Coimbatore, also serves as the Ward Secretary of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) party of the 52nd ward. THis morning, Srinivasan has filed a complaint with the City Commissioner of Police A. Amalraj, in which he stated that the 8 AIADMK MLAs from Coimbatore are reportedly missing.

His petition to the Commissioner points out that 8 out of 9 MLAs from Coimbatore except Arukutty MLA of Kaundampalayam Constituency is missing since one week. Through his complaint, he has also alleged that the missing MLAs mobile phones continue to remain switched off and the MLAs could not be contacted.

He further stated in his complaint that the welfare schemes could not be implemented because of their prolonged absence. 'Hence action should be taken to find the MLAs who are reportedly missing', said Srinivasan

He went on to add that O. Pannerselvam who was chosen by Former CM J. Jayalalitha to take her place in her absence should be appointed as the Chief Minister. He also went on record stating that AIADMK party cadres here support Panneerselvam to be the Chief Minister.
