"I have promised to come to Coimbatore once a month if the DMK government is formed. I've done it to some extent. When Minister Senthil Balaji was appointed as the in-charge minister and met the people of Coimbatore and received petitions, there were doubts about whether so many petitions could be resolved. But the Chief Minister has brought it to his notice and so far one lakh 55 thousand petitions have been disposed of after taking prompt action” the minister noted.

In spite of all the things attached to me kalaignar’s grandson and chief minister's son, I would prefer to be one of you. Having taken over as a minister, I will perform to the best of my abilities.
