Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin presides over review meeting, instructs officials to augment works under youth welfare

Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, presided over a review meeting with government officials at the Collectorate in Coimbatore and reviewed works and issues related to youth welfare, sports development, implementation of special schemes, poverty alleviation and rural credit schemes.


Coimbatore: Udhayanidhi Stalin, who has assumed charge as Tamil Nadu Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports has been busy touring and reviewing the schemes and projects across Tamil Nadu.



He attended the “Bhoomi Pooja” function at the Nehru Stadium for the laying of a synthetic track yesterday.



Presiding over a review meeting with government officials at the district Collectorate, he instructed the officials to augment measures n the fields of youth welfare, sports development, implementation of special schemes, poverty alleviation and rural credit schemes.



The meeting was attended by Power Minister Senthil Balaji, District Collector Sameeran, Corporation Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar, Corporation Commissioner Pratap, West Zone IG Sudhakar, revenue department officials and government officials.



Earlier, thousands of DMK workers gathered in front of the Collectorate and gave a rousing welcome to Udhayanidhi Stalin, who arrived at the Collectorate.
