Coimbatore: Akshatha Das Meetiney was crowned as Miss Tamil Nadu at the 13th edition of the Luxury affairs awards and Miss.Tamil Nadu 2023, which was held in the city recently. While Dr Dhalika emerged as the first runner-up, the second runner-up title went to A. Subhiksha.
Simultaneously, the Luxury affair awards were given to 10 prominent personalities, who have distinguished themselves and carved a niche in their own respective business fields in the luxury segment market.
While K. Srinivasan, Chairman, Emerald Group was given the “Best Manufacturer and Retailer Award”, GKNM hospitals received the “Best Hospital Award”. Sivakumar, Chairman, of Globus Realtors, received the “Best Realtor Award “and Advocate Mahesh Kumar of Wallcliffs Law Firm received the “Best Corporate Advocate” award. Ninhao, one of the city’s popular Chinese restaurants received the award for “Best Chinese Restaurant”.
The celebrities, who graced the occasion included Sam Sanam Shetty, Sherina of “Bigg Boss” fame, Chaitanya Rao, who is a celebrity stylist for actresses including Trisha, Andrea, and Nayantara.
Ritisha Niveda, who is Mrs South Asia UN 2018 and Mrs UN Ambassador 2018 and Asmitha, who is a celebrity Make-up artist were also present.
