Hindu Makkal Katchi files petition to District collector urging to arrest Thol. Thirumavalavan and, Vanniyarasu

The Hindu Makkal Katchi has filed a petition to the District collector seeking a ban on the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) and the arrest of Thirumavalavan and Vanniyarasu for their "alleged links" with some of the banned organisations under "Goondas Act".



Coimbatore: The Hindu Makkal Katchi has filed a petition at the Coimbatore district collectorate praying for a ban on Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) a political party headed by Thol. Thirumavalavan and and demanded to arrest him and Vanniyarasu.



Hindu Munnani District President V V Manickam accompanied by about 30 cadres has raised slogans against the VCK at the collectorate campus.



Alleging that the members of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) in Tamil Nadu is functioning in a way which is anthitecial to national interests, they Hindu Munnani leader said that they are hand in glove with forces which are demanding a separate Tamil Nadu and working against the Hindu faith.

"A few months ago, they tried to attack the vehicle in which the Tamil Nadu Governor was travelling by throwing stones and the VCK cadres have been issuing death threats over the phone to Hindu Makkal Katchi leader Arjun Sampath" the petitioners alleged.



The Hindu Munnani cadres demanded that Thirumavalavan and Vanniyarasu be arrested and detained under the Goondas Act.
