Novel protest against the auctioning of Velliangiri Temple 'Hundi', by blowing conch and beating udukkai

Sivanadiyar claimed that the temple owned by the government is being handed over to private parties by the HR and CE department. He filed a petition at the Coimbatore Collectorate in a novel way by blowing conch shell and beating the udukkai.

In this situation, Senthil Kumar alias Sivanadiyar has filed a petition at the Coimbatore District Collectorate against the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department's move and urging the department to give it up.



Sivanadiyar blew the conch shell accompanied by Udukkai before submitting the petition.



In his petition, Sivanadiyar alleged that the government is disrespecting the High Court order, and handing over the state-owned temple to private parties.
