Free eye check up, Ayurvedic medical camp held at Thudiyalur police station premises in Coimbatore

A large number of people participated in the free eye check up and Ayurvedic medical camp which was organised by the Thudiyalur Police Station, J M J Housing Trust and Coimbatore Madhya Arima Sangam.


Coimbatore: The city's Thudiyalur Police Station, J M J Housing Trust and Coimbatore Madhya Arima Sangam organized free diabetes diagnosis, free eye check up for diabetic patients and Ayurvedic medical camp at the Thudiyalur police station premises.

Coimbatore Central Arima Sangh District Governor Ramkumar and former District Judge Mohammad Ziyapuddin participated in the camp under the leadership of the Periyanaickenpalayam Deputy Superintendent of Police, Namasivayam.

At the camp, free diabetes diagnosis was conducted for people above 40 years of age. Also laser treatment and surgeries were offered free of cost in diabetes patients if diagnosed with retinal damage at the camp. A large number of people from surrounding areas participated in the camp.

The J M J Housing Trust regulated the traffic in areas under Thudiyalur police station limits. On behalf of the housing company, its Managing Director, Wilson B Thomas presented barricades to Inspector Gnanasekaran of Thudiyalur police station. Many people including policemen participated in the event.
