Irate public force 108 ambulance staff to take injured person on Park Road in Tirupur to hospital

Though the public stopped a 108 ambulance passing by and requested the staff to administer first aid to the injured person and take him to a hospital, the ambulance staff reportedly were indifferent to the emergency and tried to leave stating that they were taking the ambulance for repair work.



Tirupur: A man riding a two-wheeler on Tirupur Park Road lost control and fell down, sustaining serious injuries.



Though the public stopped a 108 ambulance passing by and requested first aid for the injured person and to take him to a hospital, the ambulance staff reportedly were indifferent to the emergency and tried to leave the spot saying they were taking the ambulance for repair work.

The public then blocked the ambulance resulting in an argument with the staff.



The 108 ambulance staff were then reportedly forced to halt and took the injured person to the hospital.

Tension prevailed in the area when the public and the staff in the 108 ambulance were in an altercation.
