17-year-old boy stabbed to death near Town Hall in Coimbatore

A 17-year-old student studying in a private ITI school in Othakkalmandapam area was involved in a clash between two boys in town hall area yesterday. In that fight, the 17-year-old student from Sundarapuram was hacked to death.



Coimbatore: A 17-year-old boy from Sundarapuram, along with his friends, had come to the Town Hall Raja Street area last night to buy clothes.

At that time, a 17-year-old boy studying in a private ITI school in Othakkalmandapam, which he already knew, had also arrived there.

Due to the previous enmity between them, the two got into an argument on the road. In a fit of rage, the boy from Othakkalmandapam stabbed another boy in the neck, back and stomach with the knife he was hiding.

The boy, who had collapsed, was rescued by the locals and rushed to the government hospital. But he died on the way to the hospital.

Ukkadam police are investigating the incident.

The 17-year-old boy's murderous act has shocked the people after a dispute between the two boys.
