Consultative meeting to accord rousing reception to TN CM M. K. Stalin's visit to city on Aug.23

The Chief minister who will arrive in the city by air on August 23 evening would be accorded a rousing reception by party cadres, said Minister Senthil Balaji during a consultative meeting held with party functionaries.



Coimbatore: A consultative meeting of DMK party leaders and cadres was held at Kalapatti presided over by Minister Senthil Balaji to accord rousing reception to the Chief minister M.K. Stalin who is to visit the city on August 23 and take part in various functions on August 24 across three districts.



The Chief minister who will arrive in the city by air on August 23 evening would be accorded a rousing reception by party cadres, welcoming arches and flex boards would be erected after obtaining police clearance all through the route.

After an overnight stay in the city, the CM would take part in a government function at Eachanari to distribute welfare measures to over one lakh beneficiaries. Later, he would address a public meeting at Pollachi where new members would formally join the DMK in the presence of the Chief minister.

Then the Chief minister, would participate in various programmes organised in Tirupur and Erode districts all through the day.

It has been decided to accord a reception on all the routes in the three districts he would travel during the two day programme, said Minister Senthil Balaji.



DMK District-in- charge of N. Karthik, former legislator, C.R. Ramachandran, Marudamalai Senapathi , DMK Union and Area secretaries took part in the meeting.
