Singanallur-Vellalore overbridge to get lit soon.

Installation of street lights at the over-bridge between Singanallur - Vellalore has been the persistent plea of the motorist who use the route frequently. In this regard, it's a huge sigh of relief for the motorists, as installation of lights are currently in progress at the site.

As the railway crossing at Singanallur near the corporation high school has been complicating the traffic between the two areas, an over-bridge was constructed at a cost of 25 crores to ease the traffic. Since then, the over bridge has been widely used by the public.

However, the commuters who have been using the route regularly have been urging the officials to install lights along the over-bridge, as the place pose accident and theft threats during night and wee hours.

It is expected that shortly the installation work would be completed, thereby enabling safe travel for the people.
