Desk Trestles That Add Another Surface While Looking like a Walking Animal

Trestle desks aren’t anything new but Berlin-based studio michael hilgers found a way to put a new twist on them. The Walking Desk is a minimalist trestle design manufactured by German furniture company Sudbrock that creates a double tiered workspace. At first glance, the solid oak trestles resemble an animal, with their slightly skewed legs looking as if it was walking with its head turned. With the work surfaces added, they read as simple, modern desk trestles designed for stability.

The back of the “animal” holds a large surface for the main workspace, while the “head” allows for an additional work surface above.
