Several parts of Coimbatore district have received rain in the last few days. Especially in Poondi, Velliangiri and Kovai Kutralam areas, it rained heavily. In this situation, the inflow of water increased and there was a flood. Due to this, tourists have been banned from bathing and temporarily closed, the forest department said.

According to the forest department, the inflow of water has reduced and it has returned to normal, so it will be re-opened from today.
