Public Grievances Day meeting to be chaired by Mayor at Coimbatore Corporation head office in Townhall

The public coming to this public grievance day meeting should wear masks, use disinfectant and maintain social distancing. Corporation Commissioner M Prathap has asked them to submit their petitions of demands and get benefited.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M. Prathap has said that a public grievances day meeting will be held at the corporation's main office on Tuesdays every week under the chairmanship of Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar.

The Commissioner of Corporation has appealed to the public in the corporation limits to submit petitions on basic amenities like birth, death certificates, road facilities, electric lights, drinking water facilities etc.

People were advised to wear masks, use disinfectant, maintain social distancing and submit their petitions at the grievance day meeting.

Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar will chair a public grievances day meeting at the Coimbatore Corporation's main office from Tuesday from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm.

The general public in the corporation limits can submit their representations to Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar regarding basic amenities such as birth and death certificates, road facilities, electric lights, drinking water facilities, underground sewerage, industrial tax, property tax, vacancy tax, new water connection, name change, medical, health and education.

Moreover, action will be taken on these petitions by the departmental corporation officials.

Hence, Corporation Commissioner M. Prathap has asked the public to wear masks, use disinfectant, maintain social distancing and submit their memorandums to the public attending the public grievances day meeting.
