The eligibility criteria to apply for the scheme are: Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes who are above 45 years of age as on September 30, 2022 and others should be above 40 years of age.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore district collector has instructed unemployed youth to apply for the scholarship scheme.
In a statement, he said, "Download the application on the tnvelaivaaipu.gov.in website to get the monthly scholarship given by the Tamil Nadu politics to the educated youth who have registered with the Employment Exchange and have not got any job opportunities or they can go to the District Employment Office in person to obtain the application and the eligible candidates can obtain the approval of the Revenue Inspector on the application. You can open an account with a nationalised bank and submit the passbook, ration card, Aadhar card, employment registration card and a copy of the certificate to the employment office.
The candidates should be above 45 years of age as on September 30, 2022 and not more than 40 years of age for scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 72,000. There is no income ceiling for differently-abled registrants.
The applicant should have completed his schooling or college education in Tamil Nadu and should have resided here for 15 years. The applicant should be completely unemployed and should not be a student who goes to the educational institution on a daily basis. But applicants pursuing distance education and postal education can apply. The applicant should be a regular renewal of employment office registration during the period of receipt of the scholarship.
