Coimbatore Corporation Southern Zone, in the areas under Ward Nos.99 and 100 drinking water supply will be suspended for three days from 09.06.2022 to 11.06.2022 to connect the newly built pipes to the existing pipelines - Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner.
Coimbatore: As per the Tamil Nadu Department of Drinking Water and Drainage, under Pillar 1 Scheme for Coimbatore Corporation Southern Zone, Ward Nos.99 and 100 have been obtaining drinking water through distribution from the board.
The main pipe that brings drinking water is set up from Singanallur, Vellalar road, to the Mettur downstream reservoir tank.
Moreover, the renovation of the ground-level bridge across the Noyyal River has begun. Due to this work, the drinking water pipe on the bridge has to be replaced, so new supply pipelines have been set up on both sides of the road.
