Coimbatore Mettupalayam - Tirunelveli weekly train service ..!

This train is scheduled to run only one day a week, Friday. Officials said the decision on making the train permanent would depend on the number of passengers traveling.


Coimbatore: The weekly special train from Mettupalayam to Tirunelveli has started operating from 22nd April.

There is a weekly special train from Mettupalayam in Coimbatore district to Tirunelveli via Coimbatore, Palani, Dindigul and Madurai.

The train left Tirunelveli the night before yesterday and reached Mettupalayam at 7:25 am yesterday. The train left for Tirunelveli at 7:45 pm with 15 compartments.
