Coimbatore: A special awareness seminar to help the SC/ST, differently-abled persons in self-employment is scheduled to be held in Kinathukadavu on 23rd of March, Wednesday, at Sarkarsamakkulam Panchayat Union Office
In order to generate employment opportunities in the Coimbatore district, schemes such as the Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Program (UYEGP), New Entrepreneur cum Enterprise Development Scheme (NEEDS), and the Pradhan Manthri Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) are initiated by the District Employment Centre to help youth find suitable jobs.
An awareness seminar on these schemes will be held exclusively for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Differently Abled persons on Wednesday 23.03.2022 at 10.30 am at Kinathukadavu Panchayat Union Office and at 2.50 pm at Sarkar Samakulam Panchayat Union Office.
The qualified candidates shall attend the camp with documents like transfer certificate, caste certificate, Ration card, Aadhar card invoice, project report and a passport size photograph. Their applications will be uploaded online and action will be taken to recommend the loan scheme.
The District Collector Dr GS Sameeran, has invited the eligible youth and the public who are interested in starting new industries to participate in this awareness seminar and benefit from it.
