Rajkot – Coimbatore Jn. Weekly Express, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Coimbatore Jn. Express and few trains diverted thro' different route

In view of engineering works at Penukonda (in Andhra Pradesh), few trains will be operated on a diverted route - Salem division railways.


Coimbatore: In view of engineering works at Penukonda (in Andhra Pradesh), few trains will be operated on a diverted route, confirmed an announcement from the Salem division railways.

1. Train No.16613 Rajkot – Coimbatore Jn. Weekly Express (via Tirupattur, Salem, Erode), scheduled to leave Rajkot on 30.01.2022 & 06.02.2022 and reach Coimbatore Jn. on 31.01.2022 & 07.02.2022, will be diverted to run via Guntakal, Renigunta, Jolarpettai and Tirupattur instead of the scheduled route of Guntakal, Dharmavaram, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet and Tirupattur.

Consequently, the train will skip the stoppages at Gooty, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, Yelahanka, Krishnarajapuram and Bangarapet.

2. Train No.19567 Tuticorin – Okha Weekly Express (via Karur, Erode, Salem) scheduled to leave Tuticorin at 22.30 hrs. on 30.01.2022 & 06.02.2022, will be diverted to run via Salem, Jolarpettai, Renigunta and Guntakal instead of the scheduled route of Salem, Bangarapet, Krishnarajapuram, Yelahanka, Hindupur, Dharmavaram, Anantapur and Guntakal.

Consequently, the train will skip the stoppages at Bangarapet, Krishnarajapuram, Yelahanka, Hindupur, Dharmavaram and Anantapur.

3. Train No.11013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Coimbatore Jn. Express (via Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode), scheduled to leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 03, 04 & 05 February, 2022 and reach Coimbatore Jn. on the third day, will be diverted to run via Guntakal, Cuddapah, Renigunta, Jolarpettai and Salem instead of the scheduled route of Guntakal, Dharmavaram, KSR Bengaluru, Hosur, Dharmapuri and Salem.

Consequently, the train will skip the stoppages at Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam, Hindupur, Gauribidanur, Bangalore East, Bangalore Cantonment, KSR Bengaluru, Bangalore Cantonment, Hosur and Dharmapuri.

4. Train No.11014 Coimbatore Jn. – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express (via Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Dharmapuri) scheduled to leave Coimbatore Jn. at 08.50 hrs. on 04, 05 & 06 February, 2022, will be diverted to run via Salem, Jolarpettai, Renigunta, Cuddapah and Guntakal instead of the scheduled route of Salem, Dharmapuri, Hosur, KSR Bengaluru, Dharmavaram and Guntakal.

Consequently, the train will skip the stoppages at Dharmapuri, Hosur, Bangalore Cantonment, KSR Bengaluru, Bangalore Cantonment, Gauribidanur, Hindupur, Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam, Dharmavaram and Anantapur.

5. Train No.19568 Okha – Tuticorin Weekly Express (via Salem, Erode, Karur), scheduled to leave Okha on 28.01.2022 & 04.02.2022, will be diverted to run via Guntakal, Renigunta, Jolarpettai and Salem instead of the scheduled route of Guntakal, Dharmavaram, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet and Salem.

Consequently, the train will skip the stoppages at Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, Yelahanka, Krishnarajapuram and Bangarapet.
