Coimbatore: The 14th Mega Vaccination Camp is scheduled to be held on Saturday, December 11 with 1029 camps at 729 venues.
The Mega Vaccination Camp was held every Sunday, starting from September 12 this year, in Coimbatore. The camps were rescheduled to be held on Saturdays from last week, and the next phase of the camp will be held on December 11.
A total of 1,029 camps will be conducted at 729 centers in rural areas and 300 centers in the Corporation. It is proposed to administer more than 1 lakh vaccines in this camp. Health Department officials have stated that now that a new variant is on the spread, it is essential that everyone gets both doses of vaccines for better prevention of contracting the virus.
Those who have not yet been vaccinated and not been administered the second dose are advised to attend the vaccination camps on Saturday, according to the Deputy Director of Health, P Aruna.
