Rajkot – Coimbatore weekly express and Lokmanya Tilak express diverted

In view of non-interlocked working to facilitate commissioning of doubling in Yelahanka - Penukonda section, four express trains in Salem divison will be operated on a diverted route.


Coimbatore : In view of non-interlocked working to facilitate commissioning of doubling in Yelahanka (in Karnataka) – Penukonda (in Andhra Pradesh) section, Tuticorin – Okha Weekly Express, Rajkot – Coimbatore Jn. Weekly Express, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Coimbatore Jn. Express, Coimbatore Jn. – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will be operated on a diverted route, informed Salem divison.

Details of the trains:

1. Train No.19567 Tuticorin – Okha Weekly Express, scheduled to leave Tuticorin at 22.30 hrs. on 12.12.2021, will be diverted to run via Salem, Jolarpettai, Renigunta and Guntakal instead of the scheduled route of Salem, Bangarapet, Krishnarajapuram, Yelahanka, Hindupur, Dharmavaram, Anantapur and Guntakal.

2. Train No.16613 Rajkot – Coimbatore Jn. Weekly Express, scheduled to leave Rajkot on 12.12.2021 and reach Coimbatore Jn. on 13.12.2021, will be diverted to run via Guntakal, Renigunta, Jolarpettai and Tirupattur instead of the scheduled route of Guntakal, Dharmavaram, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet and Tirupattur.

3. Train No.11013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Coimbatore Jn. Express, scheduled to leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 12.12.2021 & 13.12.2021 and reach Coimbatore Jn. on 14.12.2021 & 15.12.2021 respectively, will be diverted to run via Guntakal, Cuddapah, Renigunta, Jolarpettai and Salem instead of the scheduled route of Guntakal, Dharmavaram, KSR Bengaluru, Hosur, Dharmapuri and Salem.

4. Train No.11014 Coimbatore Jn. – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express, scheduled to leave Coimbatore Jn. at 08.50 hrs. on 13.12.2021 & 14.12.2021, will be diverted to run via Salem, Jolarpettai, Renigunta, Cuddapah and Guntakal instead of the scheduled route of Salem, Dharmapuri, Hosur, KSR Bengaluru, Dharmavaram and Guntakal.
