The Government of Tamil Nadu has amended the Public Health Act to allow only those who have been vaccinated to visit public places, markets, theatres, schools, colleges and places of worship.
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government has recently announced that only those who have been vaccinated will be allowed in public places such as markets and theatres.
It also states that the vaccine is currently the only major weapon in recovering from a major corona virus pandemic. Thus, all the people in Tamil Nadu are being urged to get vaccinated. Free camps are being set up and the public is encouraged to be vaccinated at the camps. Furthermore, arrangements are made so that people can be vaccinated close to their homes.
So far 9 free vaccination drives have been held in which people come eagerly and took their vaccinations. However, some are not yet ready to be vaccinated. Thus, the Tamil Nadu government has said that permission to visit public places will be given only if the public is vaccinated.
