Retailers required to obtain permission from Revenue officials for sale of vegetables in Coimbatore Corporation areas during complete lockdown
Coimbatore: With complete lockdown imposed in Tamil Nadu, wholesale vegetable trade is allowed in the Coimbatore Corporation area for the benefit of the public. Retailers too can buy vegetables and fruits from wholesalers.
Retailers are also allowed to sell vegetables in their own vehicles by going door-to-door in Corporation areas. They are required to obtain proper permits from the Corporation for their vehicles used for business by contacting relevant Zonal Corporation Assistance Orders / Assistant Revenue Officers.
