Due to the maintenance works at the Podanur-Coimbatore railway track, 5 trains have been diverted to run via Podanur from 15th March till 17th March.
Coimbatore: In an announcement made by the Salem Railways Division it is said that, "Due to the maintenance works that is to be done at the Podanur-Coimbatore railway track, 5 trains have been diverted to run via Podanur from 15th March till 17th March."
Hence Dhanbad - Alappuzha Special Train, New Delhi - Trivandrum Special Train, Bengaluru - Ernakulam Special Train, Alappuzha - Dhanbad Special Train and Ernakulam - Bengaluru Special Trains will not be arriving in Coimbatore Jn but will be sent via Irugur to Podanur.
On a similar note, Karur - Coimbatore Special Train will not arrive in Coimbatore but will be diverted to Podanur Jn and will restart from Podanur - Karurfrom 15th March to 17th March.
