100% voting turnout awareness held headed by Pollachi Sub-Collector; special camps on 12th and 13th
Coimbatore: On behalf of the Revenue Department, an awareness campaign on voter registration and 100 percent turnout was held in Pollachi today under the aegis of Vaidhyanathan, Sub-Collector.
The Revenue Department in a statement said, in the areas under the Pollachi revenue division, a special voter registration camp is scheduled to be held on the 12th and 13th of this monthThe camp, which will be held at the respective polling centers in the surrounding villages, will include new voter registrations, deletion of names of the deceased and relocated voters.

In order to create awareness among the public and voters about 100% voting and special camp, programs including karate and yoga were held at the old bus stand in Pollachi today under the chairmanship of Sub-Collector Vaidyanathan.

Also, posters with awareness slogans were pasted at bus stands.
The event was attended by officials including Pollachi Tahsildar Thanigaivel and Pollachi Regional Transport Officer Muruganantham.
