District Collector K. Rajamani in a press release said those who have saved life and public property through their brave acts in the Coimbatore district can apply for the Anna Medal. There is no age limit and those who want to get the Anna Medal can go to the website www.awards.tn.gov.in and download the application.
The duly filled applications should be sent to the District Sports Stadium, Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority, Nehru Sports Stadium, Coimbatore with the relevant documents along with the details of the courageous act in saving the life and property. The last day to send the application is the 31st. Contact the District Sports and Youth Welfare Officer for more details.
