At 10 AM on July 14, 2020 medical camps will be conducted by primary health centers in all the zones of the Corporation.
PHC's in the North Zone will conduct camps at Peelamedu- Chandrakanthi Nagar, Vilankurichi - Community Hall, R.G. Pudur, Neelikonampalayam- M.K.V. ICDS, Ganapathy Managar- Balamurugan Nagar, Maniyakaranpalayam, Ganapathy- Ganesh Layout, 3rd street, Thudiyalur - N.B.C. Nagar and Vellakinar- Ambedkar Street.
The South Zone PHC's will conduct camps at Telungupalayam- Arumuga Udayar Street, Selvapuram- Balaji Avenue, Kuniyamuthur - Kovai Garden Kovaipudur, Podanur - Sai Nagar,Kurichi- MGR Nagar, Eachanari and Thondamuthur- Mariamman Temple Sundakkamuthur road.
The PHC's in the West Zone will conduct camps at Ram Kurbai Ammal (RK Bai) - RK Bai PHC, Meenatchi Home (MM Home) - Bala Karuppasamy Nagar Park, KK Pudur - Church Road, Kavundampalayam- VOC Nagar, Kovilmedu, Seeranaickenpalayam - Ishwarya Nagar, Kalveerampalayam - Kalveerampalayam AWC and Vadavalli - VNR Nagar AWC.
The East Zone PHC's will conduct camps at Singanallur -Kamatchiamman Temple street Kallimadai, Nanjundapuram - Pankaja Mill Quarters Ramanathapuram,Sowripalayam- Pillayar Temple Street, Uppilipalayam- CMC Colony and Ramanathapuram- Kottai Pudur ICDS.
The Central Zone PHC's will conduct camps at Seethalakshmi (SLM) - Thyagaraya New Street near Siddhi Vinayagar Temple, Pattu Nool Chandran Street, Jail Road (JRM)- Arunthathiyar Street, Rathinapuri- Nanjappa Street ICDS, Raja street- South Housing Unit, CTM Home- Aasmin Nagar ICDS and Walabhai Vandheeravan (VVM Home) - Vysial Street VVM Home.
The news about these medical camps is being relayed through PA systems to the residents of the respective areas. People with cough and cold, senior citizens above the age of 55 years, and those with heart/lung/kidney ailments and diabetes will be tested with pulse oximeters and thermal scanners.
Those with symptoms can participate in the medical camp and benefit, informed Corporation Commissioner J. Shravan Kumar. The public have been requested to participate in the camps without fail and protect themselves from the spread of COVID.
