Coimbatore: Special medical camps are scheduled to be conducted tomorrow across all the zones of Corporation for primary checkup of COVID symptoms. At 10 AM on July 13, 2020, medical camps will be conducted by the various primary health centers from all the zones of Corporation
PHC's in the North Zone will conduct camps at Peelamedu, Balan Nagar, Vilankurichi - Vinayaka Temple, Poonga Nagar, Neelikonampalayam, Sivalingapuram, Ganapathy Managar Near Petrol Station, Gandhi Nagar, Ganapathy, Ambedkar Road, Thudiyalur- Tirupati Nagar, Vellakinar, Viswasapuram and Saravanampatti.
PHC's in the South Zonewill conduct camps at Telungupalayam - SA Nagar, Selvapuram - NSK Road, Kuniyamuthur - Kulathupalayam, Gokulam Colony, Podanur - Gandhi Nagar, Kurichi - Machampalayam - Thondamuthur - BK Pudur ICDS.

The East Zone PHC's will conduct camps at Singanallur- Krishna Naidu Road, Ondipudhur‌, Nanjundapuram‌: Salamat Nagar- Salamedu, Sowripalayam‌- Thottichiyamman‌ Temple Road, Uppilipalayam‌- Ganguvar Road- Varadharajapuram‌, Ramanathapuram - Karunanidhi Nagar .
The Central Zone PHC's will conduct camps at Seethalakshmi (SLM) - RG Street, Devanga Kalyana Mandapam, Pattunool - Maniyathottam, Jail Road (JRM) - Kandasamy Lay-out, Rathinapuri,Shastri Road Temple, Raja street - Selakonak, CDM Home ICDS - KEC,(VVM Home)-Corporation Middle School.
The news about these medical camps is being relayed through PA systems to the residents of the respective areas. People with cough and cold, senior citizens above the age of 55 years, and those with heart/lung/kidney ailments and diabetes will be tested with pulse oximeters, thoracic scans and thermal scanners.
Those people with symptoms can participate in the medical camp and benefit, informed the Corporation Commissioner J. Shravan Kumar. The public have been requested to participate in the camps without fail and protect themselves from the spread of COVID.
