TASMAC will be functional, only bars to be closed down till March 31

Coimbatore: From March 17 (Tuesday), all TASMAC bars will remain closed, in an effort to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, or COVID-19, a circular from the State government confirmed.

Coimbatore: From March 17 (Tuesday), all TASMAC bars will remain closed, in an effort to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, or COVID-19, a circular from the State government confirmed. 

However, TASMACs will remain operational, only the bars attached to the TASMACs will remain closed till March 31. Further the Tamil Nadu State government in a release to all Managers of TASMACs outlets has instructed to beef up sanitary measures by placing hand sanitisers and providing face masks to employees. 

The managers have been asked to ensure that all preventive measures are adhered to at their respective TASMACs.
