Coimbatore: On behalf of the Coimbatore Smart City Ltd. and Coimbatore City Corporation, the Commissioner on Monday appealed to the citizens to take part in the 'Ease Of Living 2019-20' survey and register their feedback.
The survey is hosted by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. This would imbibe a culture of data driven governance in cities to effectively plan, implement and monitor city services in the future.
Addressing the a review meeting on tax collection, the Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer, J Sravan Kumar urged the Zonal officers to expedite the work of collecting pending taxes. He directed them to organise special camps to collect taxes.
The Commissioner also urged the officials to sensitise the people on the Ease Of Living 2019-20 Survey and educate them to participate in the survey.
"The last date for giving feedback, available only online, is February 29. People can register their feedback at the following link ccmc.gov.in/eol", he said.
