TNAU to host two-day training on 'Value Addition of Mushroom and Moringa' on Dec. 7,8 at its Coimbatore campus

Those interested in attending the two-day training program are requested to pay Rs.1,770 in person on the first day of the training at the TNAU campus.



Coimbatore: A two-day training on 'Value Addition of Mushroom and Moringa' will be held at the Centre for Post Harvest Technology, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore on December 7 and 8.

Processing of Mushroom and Moringa into the following value-added products will be covered under this training program:

ï‚· Moringa-Moringa leaf powder, Moringa powder, Powder-incorporated Paruppu podi, Sambar podi, Cookies, Adai, Noodles and Moringa Pickle.

ï‚· Mushroom – Mushroom powder, Powder-based soup mix, Noodles, Cookies and Mushroom pickle.

ï‚· Details for FSSAI regulations for establishing fruit and vegetable processing industry.
