Coimbatore: The Department of Aeronautical Engineering at Park College of Engineering and Technology ended on March 31, 2023, with the awarding of prizes to the winners of several competitions held throughout the symposium.
Dr. Lakshmanan, Principal of PCET, commenced the valedictory ceremony with a prayer song and a welcome speech. Dr Anusha Ravi, the CEO of Park Institutions, presided over the valedictory ceremony.
In her remarks, she expressed her joy and stated that Covid has brought the campus back to life. Respect was paid to the late Air Vice Marshal Chari, who was instrumental in establishing the Aeronautical Engineering Department in 1997.Dr. Viswanathan, Coimbatore's Zonal Manager for DE Drone World Solutions, released a commemorative item.
The Chief Guest was HAL's Executive Director of Engine & IMGT Divisions, Bangalore. In his lecture, he advised students to overlook the difficult aspects of their employment and instead focus on the things that have positive qualities. He handed out the prizes and thanked everyone who took part.
Prof. AP Haran, Dean of Aeronautical Sciences, gave the vote of thanks.The National Anthem signalled at the end of the event.
