'Yugam' 2023 was a unique mix of enthusing events, intriguing workshops and versatile pro shows for the student community and public.
Coimbatore: The third day of the Mega Techno-Cultural fest “Yugam†was enthralling for the participants and audience alike, with various events catering to a diverse range of audiences
The major highlights included RC Xtreme and Tech Expo, amidst 40+ other engaging events.

While, RC Xtreme, hosted at RC Track, Kumaraguru Campus kindled the urge to indulge in a test, the desire to take chances, and the desperation to achieve success. It involved a controller, and a car, and had a lot more action and emotions as the racing controllers competed to win the event.
Indeed, participants were in one of South India’s main racetracks to witness and immerse in a race of its kind.
Mr Aravind from Anna University, CEG, Mr Tamil from Velammal Institutions and Mr Vijay from Bannariamman College bagged the top three positions. To recognize the relentless spirit of the winners, a sum of 40000/- was also offered as a cash prize.
Similarly, 'Tech Expo 2023' was a stage for exhibiting emerging innovations on significant blooming technical aspects answering the challenges of today.
The event brought a unique platform for students across India to showcase their prototypes or proof of concepts to various industries and investors.
The major categories of innovations include Artificial Intelligence, Agri-tech, Health Tech, Smart Cities and Infrastructure and Electric and Hybrid Vehicles.
Team Electro-techies from Bannari Institute of Technology consisting of Mr Prasaanth G, Karthi R V, and Lukitha T M emerged as winners, while the Team Yuvera from KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology consisting of Lalith K, Varun P R, Levin Joseph, Udhayadharanish B, followed as runners.
Their works were also appreciated with cash prizes amounting to 50000/-.
