Karpagam Institute of Technology hosts 'TEKSPARK’23' - A National Level Technical Symposium

Around 300 students from various colleges participated enthusiastically in the technical and non-technical events and presented their papers. In depth suggestions and improvisations were given by the technical jury team, enhancing the ideas of students for their betterment and innovation.


Coimbatore: The “5 th ISTE Sponsored National Level Technical Symposium (TEKSPARK’23)” was organized in Karpagam Institute of Technology on 04.03.2023 at 09.00 am.

Invitations were sent to various engineering colleges for their students to take part in this symposium. An active registration for participation in various competitions of the technical symposium were overwhelming.

The session was inaugurated by the Principal of Karpagam Institute of Technology Dr. P.Manimaran followed with a felicitation by Vice Principal Dr. D.Bhanu, Dean Academics Dr. V.J.Arul Karthick and other Department heads.



The chief guest was honored by Dr. S.Gopinath, Convenor of the program with his welcome address. The Chief Guest Arunachalam Arumugam, Service Delivery Manager – Operations, Tata Consultancy Services, Chennai acknowledged the honor and delivered his keynote address.



During his address the Chief Guest motivated the students about the importance of successful career and also highlighted the role of Artificial Intelligence in Telecom sector, Health care and Education. He also introduced recent advancement in the area of Data Sciences.

A Souvenir was released during the event as a memoir and presentation of abstracts of the symposium.

Through this symposium, students had obtained an opportunity to showcase their innate talents and interest in Science and Technology.

The session came to an end successfully with vote of thanks by Dr. K.Karunambiga, Professor and Head of CSE Department.

Awards and recognitions were given away with participation certificates to all students. The symposium added fruitful knowledge to enrich the student’s capacities and technical skills.
