Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore announced a spot admission process to fill in 1412 vacancies for undergraduates across 28 affiliated colleges for the current year. Spot admission is applicable only to affiliated colleges and not to Government constituent colleges.
TNAU is said to host the spot admission scheme for the third consecutive year enabling learners to enroll themselves. Dr. V Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU notified that the Spot Admission scheme will be held on February 20.
Students who had applied but failed to appear for the general counselling process, those who got denied due to inappropriate documentation, and a few who paid the fees yet failed to join, for inexplicable reasons are eligible to apply for the spot openings.
