Israel's Tel Aviv University team visits Kumaraguru Education Group, explores joint strategy for research and entrepreneurship

A high-level Research team, led by Israel's Tel Aviv University President Ariel Bort, discussed various plans to conduct joint studies with Kumaraguru educational institutions on multiple educational domains.They expressed their happiness when they got explained to the cultural symbols and historical evidences of South India.



Coimbatore: A team from Israel's Aviv University conducted a study at the Kumaraguru Education Group and held discussions on the possibility of conducting various studies together, according release issued bythe Kumaraguru Education Group.

According to communique released by the Kumaraguru Education Group, a high-level research team led by Ariel Borat, Pesident of Israel's Tel Aviv University, visited Kumaraguru group of colleges, to discuss plans to carry out exchange of stragetic ideas and programmes, and pursue entrepreneurship mutual cooperation.



Along with the group's chairman, Ariel Fatta, the University's Director of Operations Planning with Asian Countries, Constantine Platoneve, Vice President for International Agreements Prof. Milet Samir, and Gary Sussman, co-founder of India Alpha Capital, were also part of the committee.

The israeli Tel Aviv University team was welcomed by Shankar Vanavarayar, Chairman of the Institutes of Kumaraguru Educational Group, Dr. T. Saravanan, Principal, College of Technology and Dr. Vijila Edwin Kennedy, Principal, Kumaraguru Multidisciplinary College and dr. Vijila Edwin Kennedy, Principal, Kumaraguru Multidisciplinary College.



At that time, it was discussed that Kumaraguru group of colleges could work with educational institutions on multiple platforms. In addition, accepted strategies such as promoting innovative learning methods, accelerating entrepreneurial participation and creating an ecosystem emerged.



This was followed by an event held in the evening in which he inaugurated the Centre for Excellence in Microscopy in the Department of Biotechnology, Kumaraguru College of Technology.

The Centre is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Equipped to create state-of-the-art biological images, the centre is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies that combine biological calculations.

It is the first of the Center for bio-image research in the Coimbatore region. There is an inverted Whitefield epifloweroscopic microscope provided by Germany-based renowned microscopy manufacturer Carl Jais.

Subsequently, a team from Tel Aviv University also visited Kumaraguru's Model Study (Forge) Road. They were briefed on current research projects and future plans operating there. Prior to that, they visited the N. Mahalingam Centre for Tamil Studies at Kumaraguru College.



Following this, the team visited the the archaeological evidences and inscriptions on display there. They expressed their happiness when they got explained to the cultural symbols and historical evidences of South India and the team lauded the antiquity of the Tamil language and the merits of classical literature.
