Coimbatore: About 2900 students received their degrees at the graduation day ceremony organized at the Kumaraguru College of Technology.

Dr D Saravanan, Principal, KCT delivered the welcome address.
Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent in his graduation address stated that the key to success is to maintain a certain rhythm in life’s activities and be a continuous learner. He also added that one has to be aspirational and get globally connected to win in this highly competitive world.
He also exhorted the student community to connect with the values and vision of “Arutchelvar†Dr.N.Mahalingam, more so in the centenary year of his birth.
"One should contribute to nation-building following the example set by Arutchelvar," Shankar Vanavarayar said.

M Balasubramaniam, the Chairman of the Graduation ceremony and the Correspondent of Kumaraguru Institutions conferred the degrees.

Out of the total 2927 students, 1296 students belong to the 2019-20 batch and among them, 217 of them have passed in first class with distinction.

Similarly, 1422 students are graduating from the 2020-21 batch out of which 272 have passed in first class with distinction.
