Coimbatore Police Commissioner lauds successful students of Coimbatore Shankar IAS Academy for achieving State-level rank in Group-1 exam

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Commissioner of Police, V Balakrishnan lauded students of the Coimbatore Shankar IAS Academy for achieving State-level rank in Group-1 examination.

He felicitated Sathyanandhi who secured the second rank at the State level and Jaisree who secured the 17th position at the Coimbatore District Police Commissioner's Office. He also heard about the selection experience of the winning candidates and shared his experience with the students.

The students of Shankar IAS-Academy in Coimbatore have achieved State-level rankings in Group-I examination, the results of which were released on July 15.

A delighted Shankar IAS Academy Director Arun stated, "Group-1 exam is to fill up 69 vacant posts in various departments including Sub-Collector, DSP, Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, etc. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducted the exam in 3 phases.

The final slots of the exam have now been released. Many students of the Shankar IAS Academy, Coimbatore have achieved this feat. Sathyanandhi, a student, has secured the second rank at the State level. Jaisree secured 17th position and Kaleeswari secured the 57th position.

Moreover, at the State level, many students have secured the best positions. The Academy administration officials felicitated the students who had passed the Group-I examination. We have been doing well for the last 10 years. Thus far, more than 10,000 Government employees have been recruited from the Academy.

Over 100 students have cleared the Group-I exam, more than 3,000 students have cleared the Group-II exam and more than 5,000 students have cleared the Group-4 exam. We are also making serious efforts to create more Government officials.

A quality team of experts, a good syllabus and proper exams pave the right path for students to succeed. If the students have self-confidence and perseverance, they can clear competitive exams. Coimbatore's Shankar IAS Academy is a beacon to turn the efforts of students into achievements."

A felicitation ceremony was organized for the successful students. Some of the female students who participated in the felicitation event shared their experience of clearing the exam and also shared tips for aspiring students to succeed in the exam. On behalf of the Shankar IAS Academy, Coimbatore, a memento was presented by the Academy's Director Arun to the successful students.
