University Vice-Chancellor, Geethalakshmi said that one can apply for the undergraduate courses at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in Coimbatore from June 28 till July 27.
Coimbatore: Applications are open for admission into Undergraduate courses for the academic year 2022-23 in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore's Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Vice-Chancellor, Geethalakshmi launched the online service to apply for the Undergraduate courses in the academic year 2022-23. She had earlier also met with the media to announce the same.
The online service for applying to the Undergraduate courses for the academic year 2022-23 begins on June 28, with the website also being operational from 5 pm. Applications can be registered online from 5 pm on Tuesday till July 27.
There are 2148 seats in the 18 member colleges under the University and 2337 seats in the 28 affiliated colleges. Students can apply to join 12 undergraduate courses at http://tnau.ucanapply.com. She said that the registration related to student admission, filling of application, publication of ranking list, consultation, reservation, certification verification and course in transit mode will be done through the website.
"Of the 12 undergraduate courses, 971 seats are reservation seats. Optional courses can be selected in a single application. The same person is not required to apply separately for each course. Other details regarding student admission can be found in the information guide at www.tnau.ac.in. Apart from this, special numbers have also been given.
There are currently 982 Agriculture and Horticulture courses in Tamil Nadu and 982 teachers are currently employed. Teachers are working in many places such as the Extension Education Movement and the Research Center.
At the same time, it is true that there was a difference in the teacher-pupil ratio at the Agricultural University. No new appointments have been made in the last eight years. We have brought this to the notice of the present Government and we have received a positive response from the Government. Admission work for agricultural courses will start as soon as the NEET result is available. Classes will start in September," revealed the TNAU Vice-Chancellor.
