Dr.M.Karthikeyan, Principal, Tamilnadu College of Engineering welcomed the gathering and insisted students to do inter-department mini projects for each semester and talked about advancements in Artificial Intelligence and Data science.
Seven Engineering departments namely AUTOMOBILE, CIVIL, CSE, ECE, EEE, ICE, MECHANIVAL, at Tamilnadu College of Engineering, the first self financing engineering college started in 1984 conducted a National Level Technical Symposium EMICA 2K22 on 16 May 2022.
The program started with lighting of kuthuvilaku followed by prayer song and inaugural dance by the Students.

M.Satis Babu, General Manager, Kavin Engineering and Services Pvt Ltd, Coimbatore was the Chief Guest for the function. During his special address he spoke about application of mathematics paper in engineering and said that in the current scenario continuous learning gets high chance in job market. He emphasised that everyone should be clear in basics and fundamentals at the time of graduation. He gave tips about current trends in production, design, management, entreprenuership, research & development etc.
About 200 participants from various colleges participated in the various events like paper presentation, project, technical quiz, CAD modeling, online games, brochure design, memes creation, treasure hunt, short film, science expo, and exhibited their talents.
Prizes and certificates were distributed at the end of function.
