337 BE graduates received their degree certificates from the well-known police officer, Tamil Nadu's former DGP S. R. Jangid I.P.S.
Coimbatore: The 10th and 11th graduation days for the students at Karpagam institute of Technology was held on Saturday with 337 BE graduates receiving their degrees from renowned police officer, Tamil Nadu's former DGP S. R. Jangid I.P.S.
The graduation ceremony for BE graduates was held at Karpagam Institute of Technology on 2nd April, Saturday. Karpagam Institute of Technology held its 10th and 11th graduation ceremony, awarding of degree certificates by the institution to the class of 2015-2019, 2016-2020, comprising 337 undergraduates in the BE course.
The ceremony was presided by the Managing Director of Karpagam Institutions, Dr. R. Vasanth Kumar, and the Principal of KARPAGAM Institute of Technology presented the annual report.
Tamil Nadu's former DGP S. R. Jangid I.P.S. was the Chief Guest and honoured the students with their degree certificates and addressed the gathering.
"Students must treat Education and Discipline as two sides of a same coin" stated the ex-DGP in his speech. He also asked them to actively participate in the civil service examinations and serve their country. He highlighted that Indian students have the capacity to achieve great heights as India is the epitome for many departments like Science, Information technology and robotics.
He also congratulated and wished all graduates a bright future ahead and requested them to serve the country and the society at large conferring them their degrees.
The Karpagam Institutions Trustees V Damayanthi, V. Karthik, CEO K. Murugaiah, Vice principal (Karpagam Institute of Technology) Dr. Banu, Head of the Departments, Professors, parents of the Graduating Students were present.
